Mercury, planet of shopkeepers, becomes the planet of shoplifters when it turns retrograde. Now this doesn’t mean anyone’s robbing you, but it might explain why so many things have gone missing since it began its backward motion on June 18. Thankfully Mercury resumes direction on July 12 and this is when you’ll see something that vanished weeks ago – like an important piece of paper, a misplaced item, or an evasive lover – suddenly make a reappearance. You’ll have tons of questions of course, but it might be a good idea to wait until after the 27th. The story is a lot more complicated than you suppose.
