Mercury retrogrades are like a 2 ½ week-long version of opposite day. This is a time when things coming together means they’re about to fall apart and keeping your distance actually makes you closer. If you were born under Gemini or Aquarius you’d enjoy the reverse logic, but you’re a Leo and this “Through the Looking Glass” chicanery gives you a headache. For you rules are rules and goal posts are goal posts and neither should be bent or moved. Nevertheless you must learn to operate in this headspace on December 22d when a Sun/Mercury retrograde conjunction shows an absurd twist working to your benefit.
