Mercury turns retrograde this week. Named after the Roman god of communication and commerce, Mercury retrograde signals a period when you’ll be plagued by misunderstandings, malfunctions, and faulty merchandise. It’s why you always want to check under the hood (both literally and metaphorically) when it’s traveling backwards. It allows you to identify potential snafus or fiascos ahead of time. The other thing to be careful about is how you backpedal out of situations where you’re in over your head.
