This would probably be a good time to kiss and make up with people you’ve been on the outs with – especially since they’re in a position to help. Part of you might feel like you’re being hypocritical and two-faced, but that’s your pride talking. The simple truth is it takes two sides to spoil a friendship and this is one of those occasions when penitence goes a long way. It doesn’t matter who’s right and who’s wrong when Mount Vesuvius is erupting in the background. What matters is getting in the boat and making your escape. You can always work out your differences later.
