Surprise upsets in a spouse’s or business partner’s life is putting a strain on your relationship. In your more frustrated moments you feel like this person should have known better than to commit to a certain endeavor, but a quick survey of the landscape reveals that it’s full of buried mines lying in wait and there’s no way s/he could have known ahead of time. What to do? Tread softly and carry a big metal detector.
