DON’T DREAM IT; BE IT

It takes a willingness to suspend disbelief and capacity to reimagine to navigate these peculiar times. You need to step away from what’s been lost, to resist caving into fear and helplessness, and to pick up the paint brush because what you’re looking at is an empty canvas. And empty canvases are free of any future or past. You’re not stuck trying to capture the likeness of some hope or dream any more than you are required to faithfully reproduce a past failure or disappointment from memory. You’re looking at an empty canvas. And the thing that makes empty canvases so full of possibility is everything is unknown and untried. You can draw whatever you like. We don’t know where the pieces will fall, but we know that there’s a design to them. And if there’s anything that the Mars/Uranus sextile on May 25 shows it’s that you have a unique opportunity to reconceive your life and your world. And if that’s what’s at stake, don’t you want to paint in broad strokes and on the largest possible canvas?
