BRAVE NEW WORLD
On December 16th and December 19th, Saturn and then Jupiter will enter the zodiac sign of Aquarius. Not only does this signal the end of their tenure in Capricorn – a rough go of things if ever there was one – but it also serves as the run-up to their first great conjunction in the airy trigon. This marks the start of a series of conjunctions in Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini that will last roughly two hundred years. It’s a pretty big deal and one that we can all sense in our souls and consciousness, but for now we’ve got a lot of cleaning up of the old world to do. Like the settlers who came to these shores four hundred years ago we will soon discover that there is no such thing as a blank slate (i.e. there were people living on this continent long before their arrival) and there’s no such thing as a fresh start (age old prejudices followed them from Europe to America). What we have the opportunity to do – and in every aspect of our lives – is to wake up, reach out, and cherish what this marvelous Universe has given us. This planet isn’t in God’s hands anymore – it’s in ours.
