Sometimes Uranus in Taurus can feel like you’re living right next to a fault line. Life can be stable and secure one moment and then everything’s turned upside down the next. You never know what’s going to trigger the shake-ups and upheavals that this planet is famous for. And given the planetary transits of the past few months, you’ve likely been through a number of unexpected twists and surprise reveals. Thankfully Uranus turns retrograde on August 19th. This won’t flip off the light switch, but it will dial down the intensity quite a bit. Changes will be less dramatic, upsets more manageable, and you may even be able to enjoy a good night’s sleep again. The other wonderful thing about Uranus turning retrograde is that it alternates its energy current from revolutionary to revelatory. This means less bolts out of the blue and more dawning realizations. Uranus will be retrograde until January 18, 2022.
