Revisiting a relationship or association allows you to discover where things went off track. The revelation can be sobering, but it’s also timely. Learning to accept our part in how things play out isn’t easy. A relationship is like a see-saw with two people on opposite ends – the ups and downs are constant but you’re both equally responsible for its welfare. Words coming back to haunt you, recognized moments when you had the chance to rewrite the script but didn’t, and knee-jerk reactions to fresh conversations will all become glaringly apparent when retrograde Venus sextiles Neptune on January 5th and then conjoins the Sun on January 8th. You won’t be able to shut out these realizations any more than Scrooge did when he was visited by the ghosts of Christmas. And like the ghosts these realizations are meant to help you. They may encourage you to repair what you have by opening your mind and moving your heart. And if it’s too late for that, then these realizations will allow you to make peace with what has come before and move on to something new without fear of repeating the same pattern.
