ADULT RELATIONSHIPS

Venus/Saturn conjunctions (like the one on March 28th) have a pretty bad reputation in Astrology.  According to traditional texts they’re supposed to signify a paralyzing fear of rejection, broken hearts, and loveless unions. Given that Astrology has been around for 2500+ years these interpretations might have made a sense in a world of arranged marriages where the dowry – and not the bride – was the object of desire, but Venus has learned to flex her muscles over the centuries and nowadays this planetary conjunction shows up quite frequently in long-term relationships or where partners find each other later on in life – i.e. after the first Saturn return. It isn’t easy dealing with a spouse’s or lover’s foibles. Many people break up or divorce at the first sign of disenchantment – but if you’re willing to put in the work that being with someone else requires you will forge a friendship and a bond that nothing can put asunder. You might not have started out as each other’s first choice, but you will certainly wind up being each other’s best choice.
