A Mercury retrograde can be a lot like a visit from Dr. Seuss’s Cat in the Hat. What begins as fun and games quickly takes a turn for the worse as the planet of mischief shows off its more chaotic side. For the past 2 ½ weeks you would have been put through your paces as plans went belly up, machines broke down right when you needed them most, and one delay after another appeared out of nowhere to bedevil you. It was enough to make you throw up your hands in despair! Thankfully all of this will be set right when Mercury comes out of retrograde on January 18th. It won’t quite be like the Cat in the Hat showing up last minute with a marvelous cleaning machine before Mom gets home, but it will be close. The wonderful thing about Mercury is that it always cleans up after its messes and puts things back where they belong however it will be up to you to decide if things are truly back to normal or whether there wasn’t an improvement slipped in when you weren’t looking.
