A TEACHING MOMENT

There’s nothing to be gained by pointing fingers. Accusations, recriminations, and mea culpas alike will all fall on deaf ears when the Sun squares Pluto and Jupiter this week. What’s done is done and everyone has to deal with the fall-out. It’s like one of those moments in the old Hollywood bible movies when the arc door closes, the bacchantes sink into a drunken heap after their golden calf party or John Wayne as the Roman centurion mutters “truly this man was the son of God.” The only time a realization sinks in is after something’s been lost. Thankfully Jupiter is a planet dedicated to teaching moments. It’s the planet that gets us to move passed the despair and to focus on what we can learn from the debacle. Call it hope, humanity, or spirit, Jupiter won’t give up – even when we feel like we’ve given up on ourselves. Its conjunction to Pluto in Capricorn underscores the gravity of the situation, but it also ensures that whatever the hardship, you will rise again.
