Yearly Horoscope: Scorpio – 2021

Scorpio, 2021

You begin the year with Saturn and Jupiter having just entered your solar 4th house. Jupiter provides opportunities while Saturn asks if you’re serious about them. Relationships have been in the process of renovation since 2018. Erratic changes in your partnership have become the norm. Your relationship might have been on and off, perhaps you’ve been forced to live separately, or found yourself pushing for a commitment you weren’t ready for. This has been stressful to say the least. As a Mars-ruled sign, you’re used to irritations and upsets in your love and harmony, which could be because of your passionate nature and fearlessness in standing your ground. While a little friction can encourage growth, you’re beginning to wonder if this is just going to be the status quo from now on. February 17th would be a great time for a sit-down talk about your future together. Are you ready to declare a cease-fire with your spouse and work together? Or would you be happier breaking up? If you decide to separate, you’ll soon find someone new. If you stick together, there’s hope for your future if you make a deliberate effort to combine forces.

Mars squares Neptune on April 9th. Neptune glamorizes, making things seem more appealing than they are, which usually results in disappointment. As a Scorpio, you have an all or nothing approach, whether it’s with a lover, a project you’re working on, or a hobby. You get your intensity from being a sign reflecting the time of year when everything is going to seed. Because of this, the darker aspects of life, while uncomfortable to most, are familiar to you. This makes you an excellent companion to those who are going through a hard time. It could be that one of your kids is struggling and needs extra support. Maybe it’s your spouse that needs a booster. Or, because Mars is in the part of your chart pertaining to your partner’s money and resources, it could be that your spouse has something taken from them. As a Scorpio, you never get deceived. However, everyone isn’t as quick on the uptake as you are. Don’t be shy about pointing out the hanky panky when you see it.

Thankfully, Jupiter brings pleasurable and uplifting times when it enters Pisces on May 13th. This introduces creative opportunities to you or your children. Simultaneously, Mars will be in Cancer at this time in the part of your solar chart pertaining to journeys, both physical and metaphysical. Maybe you go on a bonding trip to the sea with your kid or lover. Perhaps your child begins studying a new religion or philosophy. It could be that you go back to school for the arts. Whatever venture you undertake will likely require some monetary output. As a Scorpio, you’re always putting what you really want to do on the side for the sake of security. The Lunar Eclipse on May 26th, however, demands that you finally put your money where your interest lies.

There’s another Eclipse occurring on June 10th, this time in Gemini. You like to be on top and especially don’t like depending on others for your security. This is a Solar Eclipse near the north node, which suggests your partner get a raise and may even become the breadwinner. Most people would be happy with this, but you find this distressing. Your ruling planet Mars doesn’t do well with weakness and you may find yourself needing to keep up or needing to surpass your partner financially. Don’t let a boon become a bane. This could be a good lesson for you in the art of receiving and appreciating another’s generosity and good fortune.

July 1st- 3rd brings unexpected personality conflicts for a partner or loved one at work when Mars opposes Saturn and then squares Uranus. Maybe a spouse gets in a disagreement with their boss, making them question if it’s the right place for them to be. Perhaps the problem is with a coworker who suddenly becomes ill and they’re asked to pick up the slack. Then again, there could be talk of relocation, making you question your future together. Your Scorpio instinct is to protect and defend. You may be tempted to go in there yourself and tell the boss off or demand that coworkers share the workload. You’re devoted to justice and sensitive to matters of fairness. But you can sometimes forget that people should take care of themselves and it’s not up to you to rush to the rescue.

Mars trine Saturn on September 25th is a perfect time for you and your partner to sign a lease, buy a home, or move into a higher class neighborhood. Another possibility is purchasing land together. Be extra careful, however, because Mars is in your solar 12th house of deception and secret pitfalls. Prone to distrust, you would be right to be skeptical. This is a time to put those investigative skills of yours to use. Look for iffy language, questionable math, or other red flags hidden amongst the details.

November 10th brings conflict with your partner when your ruling planet Mars conjoins Mercury in your own sign of Scorpio and squares Saturn. After every major move or change comes a reaction of stress. It may be based on buyer’s remorse or a psychological trigger. It’s normal to have doubts, but it doesn’t mean you made a mistake. Indeed the Lunar Eclipse on November 19th suggests that you’re crossing a threshold in your relationship. Perhaps you’re beginning to realize the fights are born more out of anxiety than anger and that it’s not about your money versus their money, but both of your finances pooled together. Now that you have a house, you realize that this is what creating a home is all about.

December 29th indicates a time of discovery with the decisions you’ve made this year regarding your relationship and home when Mars in Sagittarius sextiles Saturn. You’ve been through a lot of ups and downs and have finally arrived at a place of stability. Saturn teaches us lessons by enduring its trials and tribulations. You’ve recognized that reaching deeper levels of intimacy with your loved one comes from persisting through challenges. Regardless of the hurdles thrown your way, sticking with your partner through thick and thin has made building a home together possible. Although this has been challenging, you’ve learned that for better or worse, you are truly in this together and that domestic bliss can only come when you’re on the same team.
